Ride Description and Notes:
Escape the heat and come join me on an adventure ride in Tahoe for the inaugural organized-ride-over-Donner Pass.

I don't know anything about the road conditions or construction, so that is why this is an adventure ride. What I do know is that the views will be stunning and the river should be raging!

This route can easily be shortened to 39 miles by  enjoying refreshments at Coffee Bar and skipping the Northwoods loop.

To get there:
Take the Cisco Grove exit and proceed to Hampshire Rocks Road. Park on the gravel area about 1/4 mile east of overpass on Hampshire Rocks Rd.

There will be no route sheets. So print your own if you need it. The route will not be swept but we will try and regroup.

Please note the late 10:00 am start time to allow for sleep, driving, and warmer temperatures.

Sunday rides are at least 40 miles in length, giving moderate level riders the chance to ride a little further than our average distance. You'll find some rides that are flattish and some that are killer hilly. The average pace of the Sunday rides varies hugely based on the distance and the amount of climb. The start location of this ride varies weekly, so check the calendar.
